China Tourism Academy signed a memorandum of cooperation with Macau University of Science and Technology

On September 21, 2022, President Dai Bin led a China Tourism Academy (CTA) delegation to Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) for academic exchanges. Chair Prof. Joseph Lee Hun-wei, Vice Chancellor and President of the University, met with the delegation. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on strengthening high-level talent training and cooperation in scientific research, social services and other fields.



Yang Xunling, Associate University Librarian of M.U.S.T., accompanied President Dai Bin on a tour of the university’s ancient maps collection and school history exhibition. Since its establishment in 2000, M.U.S.T. has made notable achievements in discipline construction and talent training, especially in the fields of literature collection, sorting and research, which left a deep impression on the delegation. President Dai Bin said that these collected documents are of immense value for Macao to build a world tourism and leisure center and promote academic exchanges with the mainland. CTA is ready to support M.U.S.T. in strengthening exchanges and cooperation with the cultural relics museums of relevant higher learning institutions in the mainland.




On the basis of friendly consultations, CTA signed a memorandum of cooperation with M.U.S.T.. The two sides will, guided by the vision of building Macao into a world tourism and leisure center, jointly promote the development of tourism industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, through jointly training high-level talents, cooperating on research and data production, and strengthening international exchanges and cooperation to boost global influence.

Prof. Goh Kok Beng, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Chu Oi Mei, Director of the Secretariat of the President's Office, Zhang Yang, Program Director of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Professor Timothy Lee and Assistant Professor Elizabeth Agyeiwaah of M.U.S.T., and Yang Liqiong, Director of the International Exchange and Finance Department of CTA, attended the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation.
