Argentina-China Tourism Seminar Held in Beijing

On May 15, Argentina-China Tourism Seminar was held by CTA in Beijing. CTA President Dai Bin, Argentine Tourism Minister Consultant Ramiro Além, and representatives from CTA research institutes, Argentina National Institute of Tourism Promotion, Tencent, Mafengwo.com and “Welcome Chinese” project attended the Seminar.



Dai Bin pointed out that the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation had brought strategic opportunities for deepening Argentina-China tourism cooperation. Despite a quite long distance in between, the two countries have made leaps forwarding tourism exchange in recent years with a surge in China’s outbound tourists and remarkable growth pace of Chinese tourists to Latin American destinations. He noted that with joint efforts of governments and tourism operators of both sides, Argentina will be visited by an increasing number of Chinese tourists.



Argentine Tourism Minister Consultant Ramiro Além made a brief introduction about Argentina’s efforts to welcome Chinese tourists. He hoped that the seminar will further facilitate Argentina-China tourism cooperation.



Representatives at the seminar held in-depth discussion about Argentina-China tourism under the framework of Belt and Road Initiative, destination promotion, business cooperation and improving services for Chinese tourists though Welcome Chinese Project, etc.
