On May 27, 2022, China Tourism Academy signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kiribati National Tourism Office in Tarawa, reaching consensus in many aspects. In the future, the two sides will jointly conduct research on marketing, product development, and destination planning, among others, and strengthen strategic cooperation by jointly carrying out cooperation projects, promoting training programs, facilitating personnel exchanges and other means, in an effort to boost tourism exchanges and cooperation between China and Kiribati.
