Project summary: Tourism area ecological protection is an important part of achieving regional sustainable development. Ecological compensation is an effective approach to give consideration to ecological fair and development goal. The project chooses Yulong County of Yunnan Province, where the ecological environment is fragile and the tourism develops rapidly, as the research area.   It will determine the space range of ecological compensation by analyzing the ecological influence range of the tourism activities; it will determine different ecological compensation standards for different areas by analyzing the types of tourism activities and the intensity of ecological influences; it will predict the development trend of ecological compensation by matching the changes of the coupling relationship between tourism activities and ecological environment. This will be a reference frame for establishing reasonable ecological compensation mechanism for tourism areas of west area.
